"Bringing the Trinity to Life"
A celebration for the first Trinity River Photo Contest Winners will be honored at an opening reception hosted by Methodist Dallas Medical Center on Thursday, April 29th at 6pm. Methodist Hospital will be displaying the photo exhibit that is open to the public in the lobby of the hospital through May 21st. To view the contest winners online, please click here.

Lakewest Senior Independent Community Grand Opening
Friday, May 14th at 10:00am, the Mayor and I are honored to be speaking at the Grand Opening for this Seniors Independent Community Grand Opening. This development located at 2696 Bickers Street is within the Dallas Housing Authority's property that provides affordable housing to the elderly.

Mattie Nash/Myrtle Davis Recreation Grand Re-opening
Over a year ago, we began the journey to renovate the Mattie Nash/Myrtle Davis Recreation Center. With an investment of over $4 million, the rec center will feature:
-NCAA regulation gymnasium
-Dedicated Senior Room with restrooms
-Large Kitchen with commercial grade appliances
-Large Fitness Room with new equipment
-Rainwater Harvesting System
The City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Grand Re-opening Celebration for Saturday, May 15th at Noon located at 3710 North Hampton Road.
