District 3 crime down 20%
Through
February, crime in District 3 has dropped dramatically from 2008
Our
efforts to improve police response, engage citizens and reduce
code violations that create a criminal climate ... are paying
off. An unprecedented 20% drop in crime allows
residents to enjoy District 3 even more. My thanks to all of you

move that may speed the demolition of other derelict buildings throughout
Dallas, we worked with neighborhood leaders and various
city departments. The result? The dilapidated

Event
includes "mini-fair" featuring city departments, first-look
at public art
You
are invited to check out District 3's newest fire station, Saturday,
March 28 at 9:30 a.m., at Illinois and Vernon. The occasion will
also provide many with a first-look at an art installation that
honors the men and women of the Dallas Fire and Rescue Department.
