Funding approved for new District 3 development
I am pleased to report that the Dallas City Council approved my recommendation to grant TIF financing for the La Reunion Town Center project on Fort Worth Avenue. Here is some of what this means to District 3...
Bye bye, eye sore...
La Reunion Town Center developer commits Colorado Place changes
Dave received the developer's public commitment to close and fence the Colorado Place apartments on the south side of Fort Worth Avenue by Mar. 31. The units on the north side of the street will be transformed into more-upscale one-bedroom apartments. Good news for neighbors!

Hello, new residential and retail...
Phase I of La Reunion plan includes residential, retail, bank
Nearly 200 upscale senior units called The Fairways will be constructed first. In addition to an extensive rehab of Colorado Place North, the empty bank building at Jacqueline and Fort Worth Avenue will transform into a pedestrian-friendly place with a new bank, retail and restaurant.
