Kiestwood Historical Homeowners Association residents go weekly!
Dave worked with the city's Sanitation and Recycling Services to identify a neighborhood that had a high percentage of recycling. As the first D-3 neighborhood to go weekly, Councilman Neumann and city officials will meet with Kiestwood residents on Feb. 10 to detail the program. Here's more.

In 2008, some categories of crime were the lowest since 1966
Across the board, crime in Dallas dropped last year by 10% and violent crime was down by 14%. Crime in District 3 dropped by 5%, a testament to how we rolled up our sleeves with all our neighborhood crime prevention efforts. Get more news about the City of Dallas.

On Fri., Jan. 23 and Sat., Jan. 24, the City of Dallas is conducting a two-day collection event to prevent TVs and computers from going to landfills and illegal dumpsites. Learn how you can drop off your TV or monitor at Reunion Arena or at one of the city’s two e-cycling locations.
