David
Neumann

Known as an energetic worker,
Dave Neumann is a successful business owner. He has
also been a tireless community leader since moving to
Dallas 26 years ago.
As Chairman & CEO of Ivy
Jane — a respected, Dallas-based women's apparel
manufacturer — the 1982 Indiana University graduate
understands the many issues faced by small businesses.
A husband and father of two rather energetic kids, Dave
deeply appreciates the quality of life and neighborhood
issues that most Dallas families face ... no matter
how family is defined.
Living in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Kessler Park,
Dave also knows firsthand the positive changes underway
on his side of the Trinity River.
There is a tremendous shift of focus to the southern
sector that is coming from the city, business community,
media and transportation industry.
Dave helped architect some of that shift as Vice Chairman
of the City of Dallas Plan and Zoning Commission.
His leadership roles with the Stemmons Corridor Business
Association, Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce and Trinity
Commons Foundation further honed his relationships and
vision for our future.

Daughter Ivy, wife Frances and son Corbin with Dallas
City Councilman Dave Neumann.

In June, 2007, Dave was elected to represent District
3 on the Dallas City Council. He has promised to continue
his advocacy for residents of District 3 while also
serving all taxpayers of Dallas.
Expect Dave Neumann to do so with the same energy, entrepreneurship,
love of family, and appreciation for a high quality
of life that has accompanied him so far. |
