It's about protecting our neighborhoods.

As one D-3 resident told me, protecting our neighborhoods boils down to, "Code enforcement, code enforcement, and code enforcement ... and then the cop on the beat."

Protecting our neighborhoods and our home investment is also about what the City does — and what we as community stakeholders do — to improve the quality of life in District 3.

From acres of land scraped of trees and abandoned in Mountain Creek ... to decades of environmental missteps in West Dallas ... to unenforced and weak laws and codes ... to the lack of basic goods and services within walking distance of our homes ... we have years of neglect and bad decisions to reverse.

But we are reversing the past, every day. And I will continue to do so, every day ... with your continued support.
